Just thought you / other members may be interested to check out a recent underwater film on Pilbara freshwater fish.
Not all about fishing but some species pop-up that would be of interest (e.g. barra, Mangie Jacks).

I also laughed. Went to Python pool a few times. Second and subsequent times had a heap on funny catching veracious little fish on ultrlite gear whilst the kids had a swim. First time - didnt realise theres fish in there until they nibbled on the hairy legs.

That was a really interesting video. Spent my childhood growing up in Paraburdoo and catching the spangled perch, we called them mountain perch, got us thru until the next trip to the coast. Really well shot and interesting video.
