the temperature you see on

the temperature you see on the dash is your water temperature.

as radiators get older they tend to block up.

perhaps get it cleaned and flow tested or upgrade to a bigger radiator and possibly upgrade the thermo fans (if it has any, might run a clutch fan setup standard)

coolant flush may also help

oil cooler would be handy as the turbo introduces unwanted heat into the oil. as the oil gets hotter, it loses its lubrication properties and hence can cause premature engine wear

Hey Mitch, remember that 60s i had?, well i still got it and she still get's hot (on hot days). I had every thing done to it and nothing stops it from getting hot. The thing with it it never boils, like you said you just turn off the A/C and the temp drops. What i did when i was in TP was take out the thermostat, it helped alot but apparently not a wise thing to do??? Being in the industry we are both in have driven heaps of them and the thing i found is that they all get hot when you stick it to it, they are a real bugger.
