kalbarri or geraldton

hi all,

 

i am planning a fishing trip with my family in december and i was throwing up between kalbarri or geraldton. we will be land based and no 4wd car. hoping to find nice stretches of beach with easy access by a non 4wd car. hoping to catch taylor because that is all we know how to catch haha

also nice beaches with small waves is a bonus for the little ones.

 

so where should we plan this family holiday

 

any advice would be great.

i reckon kalbari will be flat

i reckon kalbari will be flat out with travelers in december so good for the kids to hang out with others and not so good with the crowds for fishing

I'd go kalbarri mate, having the river right there is great for your kids to swim in and teach them how to fish and also a few good landbased beaches/rocks which often produce tailor aswell as mulloway, sambos and pinkies at times and are accesable by car. Also got the gorges to have a look at too if the fishing isnt firing.
