I would go with a 50lp wind on leader mate. And i would give it bout 5 meter if u fish with just braided line. that gives u a bit of stretch and good abrasion resistence in case u hit rock.

I use about 5m of 80lb on 30lb braid.  The smaller the leader, the more chance of twists and tangles but probably the more chance the fish won't notice the line so much?

To add to this if you use a wind on make sure its long enough to grad as the braid will cut your hands when trying to lift your fish into the boat.

and  I think 50 or 60 lb would do

I run low diametre 80lb for just about everything (except light casting or very heavy casting)

Used to mix it up with 40lb/50lb etc, but I realised that the cheaper 50lb I was using was actually thicker than my 80lb Jigging Master stuff, so now I just use that exclusively.

When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:

n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or

n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.
