Jurien Bay
Submitted by Jackfrost80 on Sat, 2018-06-02 11:05
Old man has recently retired and I'm getting stir crazy spending my LSL round the house so we've hatched a plan to head to Jurien for 5 days for some R&R and to hopefully hook into some Jurien dhus.
Going to stock up on a few things before I head up but is the local tackle store fairly well stocked?

Good Shop
Went last year and the shop is well stocked even had shorecatch shred, owner was super helpful with local info and worth spending a few bucks there even if it is just the bait.
Fantastic facilities at the marina and plenty of good ground in the area you seem to be able to use a sounder so should do well and for us was worthwhile taking the pots up for a few crays.

Cheers lads and will do Hutch. I generally like to buy some gear from the local store as I can get chatting about what areas to start sounding around

Seasport Tackle
Great little shop with a good selection of anything you might need. Shane Younger the owner is a professional that has been in the tackle and fishing industry forever and more importantly will give you some local advice on where to start hunting. If you are after specific bait just call the shop to see what they have, because its a popular shop with locals. Hope this helps.

If you need any boating
If you need any boating chandlery, Dan is worth at visit at the cray pot shop in the old industrial area. Great bloke and makes a mean cray pot too.
