Jurien accomodation recommendations?
Submitted by Rig on Wed, 2013-10-02 11:58
The Mrs has just flagged the idea of heading to Jurien after Xmas I am happy because I havent fished there before but its probably a bit late to be looking as I guess most places would be booked.
Has anyone got any recommendations need it for 2 couples and need room for a 5.7m boat also
cheers

last two places i stayed at were:

Both sleep 4+ people and have space to park your boat.
Browse through stayz.com.au and you will find something that will suit.

Yup...
Book two chalets at the caravan park. Relatively cheap, A/C, very tidy.
Or a better idea....look at Beach Place in Leeman (Google) - cheap as chips, sleeps heaps and still only 30m from Jurien. You can launch from the ramps at Leeman or Greenhead.

cheers guys booked a nice little place in Jurien that will do the job, the town is pretty close maxed out unless your not taking a boat.
I was possibly thinking of leeman/greenhead before xmas for a few days but I havent fished there before so might go to spots further north. Is it easy enough to find ground off leeman in the 40's like Perth?

No boat
I'm a land lubber Rig, but from what I understand - once you get out past the reef it drops off quickly into the 30s and 40s and produces some exceptional fishing for Dhu & Snapper. I'm sure someone here would have some good info.
LB fishing is also sensational if you know where and when to fish. If you dive/spear....also a good option.
