Help: Yunderup fishing crabbing this weekend

Hi I am heading down to a mates house in Yunderup and was wondering what sort of fishing and crabbing is around that way at this time of the year. Will be near Ravenswood Tav so know their should be some good bream around. What bait do you think stick with the river prawns? Also is it worth soaking a bigger bait for mullas or do they not head up that far? And lastly are the crabs running. Will have a small dingy but can only fit a couple of ppl so pretty much LB'd. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
Cheers Timmo

Fished the bend on Tuesday
Fished the bend on Tuesday for a small bream, trumpeter and a few crabs (line and hook) - one would have been size. Plenty in there at the moment and there are also plenty of bream around through that stretch.
There are heaps a juvenile tailor around...I would be trying to get one that is legal and put it out as a live bait for a mulla...certainly no harm in trying.

I could be wrong, but isn't
I could be wrong, but isn't Yunderup apart of the Peel/Harvey estuary? If so it's closed to crabbing until the 31st, which is sunday. Dont know if that means it's open sunday or after sunday. Anyway.. just incase you weren't aware,, maybe Yunderup isn't apart of that tho?

thanks
yeah not sure about crabbing where we are. It states you cant crab in the peel inlet- channel entrance, harvey estuary and dawesville cut. Gonna try get some more info somewhere otherwise will ask some locals down there. Yeah def gonna take my big rod for the chance of a mulla or bully. Will be fishing after dark and up to the high tide which im pretty sure is around midnight so good time to wet a line. Will keep ya posted.
