Graveyards - 2011 Montebellos Video
Submitted by Adam Gallash on Wed, 2011-08-03 14:37
Here's a short video I made of 4 drops Tim had at a spot we named 'Graveyards' where jigs go to die. The video is a bit average, but I think you get the idea of how successful a piece of metal was at this spot. Of course, even though the jigs were successful, unfortunately we weren't - but it did provide a solid half an hour or more of entertainment, well, me watching Tim get towelled up. Hope you enjoy.

Nice video
Shame about the last trout, looked as though it was a thumper. Must have lost a bit of coin getting busted off frequently.

How good is graveyards, i only had 6 jigs (3 that i bummed of TJ) and a couple of 4oz jig heads, they were lucky to last the hour that they did. Managed 4 solid trout, 3 rankins and sooo many unstopables in that time including a 35 plus KG macky

ha ha, that came up real nice
ha ha, that came up real nice Addy.
Makes the $$ and km's all seem a distant memory when you reminise about fishing like that.
The rod is a Jigging Master 150g and the reel is a Shimano Trinidad 12 with 30lb braid. It's one of my favourite combos, just about jigs itself but still has some balls for a light outfit.

I don't believe that Lucky would have used any foul language!!
Are there any nice beachs close to this spot for me to sleep on??
I'll be back from the Todd River in time for the next adventure up that way.

with the reefings, sharks and pulled hooks of the last few weeks my foul language repertoire has expanded a lot.
Plenty of beaches nearby but the trip home might have been bucket worthy for the Merman.

No for anyone who gets sick the trip home is when you start feeling better because you know you're going home. Sux but its the truth.

Hey Tim you now get my vote for best tv fishing presenter .
At least you dont carry on like a knob and can find your own fish and catch them with a bit of style.Even if it is the robot
So tell me have you got your info from years on the water or hours on the internet?

Great vid guys. Bit hard to take at the moment with fishing down here being out of the question for a few weeks now due to some really crappy weather.
Great name both 'Graveyards' and 'Tim-O-Matic'.

Fair call, a trout head
Fair call, a trout head is really no use to anyone. Would have liked to see the actual size of the one that got sharked, looked like a good fish.

cool vid! I've been looking at the JM's for a replacement rod matched to the oj1500p. Love the name of the spot too... very appropriate.

the mullet came off in March and my neck has been getting sunburnt since.
The JM150's are sweet, they'd go a treat with the 1500. My Trinidad 12 is similar sized and I love them paired up together.
