G'day

G'day guys,

Haven't had a chance to say a proper g'day, so here it is!

Signed up and quite impresses with the quality of content on the site, some amazing fish being caught around the state.

Originally an east coaster nsw and must admit it has taken a while to settle into the WA fishing, mainly the distances to get anywhere and sometimes lack of options compared to the east coast and fish species/numbers available. But there is always light at the end of the tunnel and those that seek shall find some amazing fishing.

Being boatless i've been spending alot of my fishing time on the southern stones. A very scienic part of the world but also so easy to see how people can ignore the dangers and end up being another lost number.

I don't mind the offshore stuff also when the opportunity arises to float a few baits in a berley trail in close or out in the deep blue. Very keen to nab a solid dhu on placcy as this box still needs to be ticked as you can't be a true sandgroper without catching a dhuie!!

tight lines guys and keep up the good work

cheers

Matt

Welcome to the west Matt, looks like you've found the place to find your info. :) Great blue off the stones by the way.

Cheers,

Adam

G'day Matt, good intro mate & I like the intentions of nabbing a dhuie on plastic to earn your sandgroper badge! Will certainly be some Perth crew looking for a decky to achieve that and if your heading south way then drop me a pm

cheers guys

I think Damo Thomas told me everyone down south is a good bloke, just be careful of that Lamby fella!!!  ahaha  thanks man

yeah, i think there is probably a little bit of a sandgroper badge list that could be drawn up

solid dhu on placcy, big pinky out of a berly trail in the shallows, all day salmon sessions, spanish on the spin at quobba, big samson and kingy off the rocks down south, coral bay red emp, exy trout, pilbara barra, big golden on the exmouth flats, jigging nannys out in the deep.......the list is endless but one that anyone would be more than happy to complete
