Harrissa
Harrissa for the chillies
I usually times it all by 4 to make a huge batch ... in jars ... smidge of oil on top .... into the fridge, enough to last a year if you can stay away from it ;)
You'd think it would be too hot, but the other ingredients calm it down.
Awsome flavour!! Eat it on anything :)
250g fresh chilies, chopped (No, don't take the seeds out!)
1 medium head garlic
1 tablespoon ground coriander
1 tablespoon ground caraway seeds
1 tablespoon dried mint
3 tablespoons fresh coriander leaves( Lots more tastes brilliant!)
1 tablespoon salt
Olive oil

If I really have to eat
If I really have to eat salad, I like this:
Take half to one spanish onion, cut super fine.
Add it to 60ml sherry vinegar, good grind of black pepper, one crushed garlic clove and 1tsp brown sugar and leave for 30min.
Add 4-5 medium tomatoes, only the flesh, cut into 1cm squares
Serve!
Edit:
Braised Squid with chorizo, tomatoes and paprika
Harira with Harissa, and a smoked sardine
Tomatoes+crayfish = great soups!

sun dried tomatoes
sun dried tomatoes using the Exmouth sun, especially as it starts warming up. They taste great, easy to do, great in salads, on pizzas, with a beer and they're bloody expensive to buy.
