Didn't see a single grey coat.......BUT fish went off the bite after we caught a very large remora. Finished off with a nice bag of baldies, huskies, snapper including one really good one and the red.
Broke the sinker off in the rough stuff, a tiny little ledge lit up with fish but so small you had to repeatedly do the short drift. Still I am certainly not complaining and was over the moon when I saw the colour coming up.

Certainly wouldn't be complaining about that one. Looks to be the perfect eating size as well.

Good fish mate
You'd be happy with that specimen, sea coditions look decent too.

They're not all that
They're not all that uncommon outside Shark Bay, the edge of their range seems to be around bottom of Abrolhos.
Nice catch though for sure!

The older you get the more you realize that no one has a f++king clue what they're doing.
Everyone's just winging it.

Good thing finding the
Good thing finding the smaller ledges, possible a bit of timing / season thing also.
We had a nightmare of a time up there, struggled at every good show we found.

Yup, had me snagged to the bottom
