2013 fast approaching and next year I am planning 2 away boating/fishing trips.
1. Abrolhos Islands (South Group) looking at March 15th heading across for say 3 or 4 nights?? This would also be my first (Take own Boat Trip Across), would be looking for another boat or two to join in on this trip? I have a full crew ready to go, so just need to put together the dates etc. If there is anyone wanting to come along or that may be able to help out with knowing where to find a mooring etc would be great.. Please pm me.
The Second trip and much more involved…
2. I would like to do a boat trip from Derby and maybe around to the horizontal falls and back, (Open for Discusion) I have a boat and a crew organized, so I thought I would put it out there to see if anyone else maybe interested in hooking up for this trip?? I am just starting to plan this trip and am looking at dates to go and I was thinking leaving Friday the 12th of April 2013 and allowing 3 weeks to do the round trip? Open to discussion.
I have not boated around Derby before so I would also welcome any help and or pointers in getting this trip planned etc. Like fuel drop area/who to contact, moorings, must see sights to see, good fishing areas etc Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Abrolhos-one bit of advice I can give is dont fix yourself to a firm date, work around the weather.
No matter what size the boat, its a bastard of a place in crap weather.
Shelter, especially if your new to it can be difficult to find.
Give a man a mask, and he'll show you his true face...
The older you get the more you realize that no one has a f++king clue what they're doing.

Cheers for that, Yes wise words. I pencilled that date to give a couple of the boys that are coming a time to workout for Holidays/Days off etc.. But lets hope its not to bad that week.. Fingers crossed..
