Great collection of vids courtesy of our very own Scotty "Big-fish" Streetfighter. Some awesome action on big samsonfish from late last year. Looks like the boys had great fun with some very big fish.

There you go Scotty!!
I posted the CD Rom back to you yesterday. Hope I have done your footage justice. Unlike with straight pictures, unfortunately holding the camera at 90 degrees doesn't work too well with video's. I tried using a few effects to straighten the images up but it didn't look too good so quite a bit of Neil's footage is on the cutting room floor.
Some really nice fish handling techniques there by the boys in those pics too, so well done Neil and Scotty.
I know you don;t like dance music but it fitted nicely with the jigging pump action, so tough.
By the way there should have been an explicit language warning on that vid. I think I might have to go back and edit the preamble to reflect that.

We are looking into getting
We are looking into getting an underwater camera to troll behind the boat when we're going for sailfish. In addition to this we're also looking into mounting the hand held on the rocket launcher and getting a 240v inverter for the boat battery so we can run the hand held continuously from the boat battery. Should be able to get some top footage if it goes ahead :)

Forget the 240v
Id forget the inverter if you can as its extra draw on the battery and 240v + salt water wont make a real good mix. Youd be better off getting a car charger type cord for the hand held.
Im planning on fitting one of the security type cameras on the rocket launcher and it plugs into the AV on the hand held. Means you can store the camera somewhere out of the way or in a storage area where it wont get wet.

easier to float it whilst fishing than to chuck on roof of boat!!
did some deep deep water biscuting out the fads but after 1 attempt decided it was prob going to end in shark bait.
was a great weekend in all 2 nights pissed at quokka arms fishing perving sunbaking biscuiting cant wait to get over again soon

was wondering why the bloke on the other boat was putting his hand on his head and making a fin looking gesture!! wasnt till we got closer we could hear him yelling shark!!
yeah good luck keeping up with a buiscuit when neil is driving!! i came out in thompsons bay over a boats wake did 3 cartwheels ended up loosing my boardies around my ankles head was hurting from the slap lol
