I agree Darren that turn out to be a good photo considering how much the deck was rolling. You even got the horizon straight.

Too bad your big snapper popped up as a samboTongue out

Ripper of a fish Noha. We got a couple of Sunday but not even close to that size. Was he out deep or in pretty close, from all reports there are quite a few pinkies in close at the moment.

Only one over 70, yes that

Tue, 2008-07-22 19:12

Only one over 70, yes that is right. Most of others where all between 60 and 70 so that was good.

The fish were in close, probaly due to the recent storm, and surprised us as we were only fishing a bit of corally bottom looking for baldies.

Ended up with our 12 snapper a couple of small dhu's and a solitary baldie, Caught and released a few sambos from that snapper school also.

Lost a big dhu also due to of all things a knot slipping. Thats two in two weeks I have lost and they where both BIG fish. The other one chaffed thru my 60lb flourocarbon leaderWink
