The first fish was taken by young Matty after his dad Greg had snagged up on the bottom, Greg was skipper on his boat that day and handed the rod to Matty while he drove the boat around to try and recover the gear. Unfortunately for Greg a fish was still on (must have burrued him under a ledge) and Matty had the pleasure of bringing it in. (If you listen carefully at the beginning I ask Matty who's fish this is and he says "Its mine.......and dad's" so it is on film and can't be denied now, so Greg can claim half the fish.

It went about 12kgs and Matty did exceptionally well to get it in after a heap of line chaffing on the snag and subsequent attacks by the alby.

As for the sambo, boy did he go hard....remember I fish pretty light and it took some time to get him in. I think the shot at the end looks great (the fish that is not me)I was absolutely stuffed after that one.

By the way ignore the Bankwest hat and shirt as I now work for myself as a finance broker, so if you want to do a deal, maybe I'll take you out to one of my spots and you can sample first hand some of the mayhem out from Mindarie.
