Pre-dawn snapper (PB)

Went fishing out of Mandurah very early this morning with John (auslobster) and Dave (davebarry).
Ended up pulling in a nice size pinky before the sun was even up (went 73cm and 4.5kg, a PB). John hooked into 2 pink snapper in around the 45-50cm range. Dave got one the same size as well, which was his first pink snapper. One or two undersized ones were pulled up, but sent right back. I tried the octa jigs and had a good hit that unfortunately broke my line. Also managed another drop with a rock cod (?) on one assist hook and a sweep on the other assist hook.
Had to be back at the marina by 9:30, so not long day, but everyone on board was happy and got a feed too
