Yep Luke, certainly
Yep Luke, certainly considered pocket mount PM265 or a semi recessed B265 but in the end I want THE cleanest water flow over the tranny face to give the low frequency the best chance of working well at reasonable speed in deeper water, hence the full performance fairing. I have had brilliant results with the B744 600 W tranny in a performance fairing on the other side of the hull.
The obvious concern is the impact on the hull performance......time will tell.

Should be no issue with clean
Should be no issue with clean water! Are you going to taper it sits horizontal to the bottom? How are you going to mount it to your boat? Fiberglass it in?

for us mere mortals please explain/provide some extra detail as to exactly what we are seeing and how it will be placed/mounted etc.

Basically it mounts
On the outside under the hull gives the best reading but can create drag And mske your boat pull to 1 side thats why not many trailer boats use them and the fact they can be in the way of your trailer when retrieving

Stick a set of paddle wings
On it John and you could have the first remote towed bird teaser and tranny in one. Now wheres that garish paint that teaser and trannys are always wearing
