Waroona dam tomorrow anyone?

 Hey guys, im thinking of heading down to waroona dam tomorrow for some redfin or trout. anyone interested??

Good luck bro, I would be keen to hear what the water levels are.

Going to do a run my self to the dams, but just to check areas out for structure.

Will take pics of any logs, channels, rocks, etc.. For next season.

does anybody have any idea on the best place to go at the dam? (ive only got a falcon ute)

 

but i should hopefully get something.

Bradk, there will be not mutch water left in the dam.(maby)

So it won't be hard. Any water will do, might be worth checking out all the dam,s

ie.. Harvey and Logue brook. The Dam wall's might be the only places holding water..

yeah im thinking ill try all the dams around the area hopefully get a few anyway.

got any ideas on what lures to use? i was thinkin some baby vibes, or little rmg scorpions.

RMG,s bro. Ilike the gold,rainbow and brown trout pattern's.

Don't forget celta type spinners as well. cheep lures and they work + cast a mile if the wind is up.

I never go without a few soft plastic's as well.

Sometimes larger plastics will trigger the reddies to respond

Couple trout from last year.I got my two on fly and my mate got his on a cheap celta copy
