Went down the beach and got the salmon trout on the first cast with my flick rod and a gang of 4s with half a mulie.people still around and the tailor hit my surf rod next cast.the herring were on the chew and I was losing bait so a fillet of herring went out but they ate that too.left them biting.My faith in local beach fishing is restored

Well done! Thats a good tasty haul there, beer battered fillets all round. Plenty of good fishing metro just gotta work a little herdrr sometimes. I love that you put a photo with a measuring tape rather than just saying its a 50

it can be tough getting into the fish off beaches. Sessions like this one keep the faith. Thx for the share

Yes its a salmon landed it on a flick rod.I like the beach south from trigg point.If you can get a spot between the swimmers.We are going again tonight should not be 2 many swimmers at the moment

Big storm came through and blew us of the beach.got a herring then the wind blew its head off
