It's pretty straight forward

As long as you don't need to upgrade the gears. I've heard a few people say you can just spray a ton of inox down the cable and that can free it up. Deponding on how old it is I would just replace or if you can afford got hydraulic. 90hp is a pretty big motor to use cable steering on, but then again mine is 85hp. It works but steers pretty heavy.

Maintenance

That is what is needed, teliflex type cable is natorious for seizing if you dont give the steering wheel a couple of full lock turns in both directions every week or so.

And then allways keep it so its fully extended out and covered over so no dust and crap settles on the stainless rod. Why extended fully so if it does seize just drop the knuckle pin bolt out and then you can try and tap the arm in  with a rubber mallet at the same time as greasing it up and having a mate apply some weight to the steering wheel not too much wiehght or you will strip the teeth in the housing.

The arguement is whether to greae it up or not from new and during maintenace, most say not.

My experience is that if its seized now it will allways sieze, so get behind the steering wheel remove the locking pin and remove the entire cable.

Take it to your dealer dont guess on the length of it take it with you and get the same length. Be sure to clean out the section under the motor where the arm slides in as it will be full of scaly rust.

 Good luck
