I think Fisheries really need to up the exposure on the regulations.  Using all types of media.  Unfortunately ignorance isnt an excuse in court.

It would almost make me cry

It would almost make me cry to throw back a nice pinky. Im mostly catch and release but a pinky... im going to avoid bottom fishing those type of spots for the ban i reckon... remove temptation.

Mon, 2009-11-02 11:56

I think that rec fish havent really patrolled the areas properly of letting every recreational fisher know whats exactly going on , every house hold should have been sent a proper flier stating the new rules and regulations , as not everyone has the internet tvs or buys the new paper.  only place i have seen it was briefly on the news for like 5 seconds n in the paper.

Nope, Mulloway arent part of the ban!

As for the new regulations, i agree not alot of exposure was done "but" its up to all anglers to visit tackle stores, the Fisheries and their 24hour website to keep updated!
