Question for you yak fisho's...

.... how stable and weight bearing are these bad boys?
I've followed your adventures on this and other forums and they've picqued my interest somewhat.
But, me not being a light weight i always kinda figured i'd make 'em a bit top heavy and somewhat ubstable??? So therein lies my question- are these things made to accomodate 'rotundas' like me?
Something i've been giving quite a bit of thought to lately is getting into fishing off these yaks, and to incorporate a little exercise certainly won't hurt the waistline.
Anybody thats into these yak's share my dilemma, any other lard ass's wanna give me some feedback as to how they get on, or anybody in the know wanna provide some feedback?
Ta in advance

Deefa,, the Malibu xfactor
Deefa,, the Malibu xfactor is probally the most stable of the paddle kayaks rated to 272 kg.
The Hobies can carry plenty of weight as well with the Outback popular for folks that want stability and carry larger payloads ,,with the Hobies you can peddle as well as paddle check out www.sailpower.com.au
The problem is getting back on to them if you tip over and you need to practise in swallow water getting back on until its second nature (by shallow i mean just out of your dept ) Shawn (fishyak)will have demos for you to try out,as will Grant at Sailpower ,,Grant has regular test days at Matilda bay as well,,with every model in the fleet availble for testing ,,cheers,,,

I can't afford the 6.5
I can't afford the 6.5 unhealthy version you got right now Ryan, new house blah blah blah(you understand i know), and lets face it, a little exercise ain't gonna kill me now is it?? Or maybe it will. Gonna look into anyhoo, and see what comes out of it. Speaking of your Unhealthy 6.5m.........

Yeh it needs a SVS (comes all too quick) but i resemble the idea of getting out there on the water and doing something healthy. I've been threatening to get out there with AlbyMangles and do some yak fishing....its a gonna gonna atm
