Planning a 3 month trip mandurah to cape leveque
Hi all well we have decided its time for a trip it will most likely be somewhere between april-july next year so starting to plan the trip now we will either be towing a jayco swan/eagle or an expanda not limited to jayco just examples We are currently looking now budget is upto 26k and will be an offroad model we will have a dinghy on the roof of the car/camper as we plan to fish a fair bit along the way.
We will have a little one with us she will be 2.5yrs old by then.
Im after opinions on where you think we should stop on the way up and back i dont really want to travel more then 400kms a day and am happy to travel 50kms if the next spot is worth it.
We will be setup fully self sufficient and only want to stop in caravan parks on the odd occasion when we need to/want to stop in major towns like coral bay dampier broome.
We havent been any further north then exmouth so have no idea what to expect up that way.
Thanks in advance.

How ya
Whats ya planin for getting the boat from the Camper to the water... I had a 3.85m quintrex explorer and bought some of thos clamp on wheels but changed the wheels from the plastic rims to ride on lawn mower wheels with bearings made up a tow bar hook up that I bolted to the front of the tinny...worked a treat.
Miss Port Smith go to next one Barn Hill much nicer and closer to water...instead of coral bay waht about Warroora Station camp on the beach or Ningaloo Station

We have done warroora before
We have done warroora before and loved it so will most likely stop there for a couple of days or ningaloo for something different and was only thinking coral bay for the little one we have only done a day trip there many years ago.
Not sure on the towing of the boat it will depend if it goes on the car or the van i suppose. But your idea sounds the go.
Cheers

I stayed 6 months at Cape Leveque, so if you need any info, just ask. I too had a car topper tinny and it was perfect.
