Is it just my imagination
Is it just my imagination or is there a lot more bronzies around this year. I have been waiting for a GW to turn up in the sound with all the pinkies around but have not seen or heard of any coming onto the scene.
The TV news has had a few sharks feeding up north of the river in quite close and I haven't seen this sort of activity for quite a few years. I have no doubt they have always been around but just can't recall them being observed in such numbers.

Sharks taking pinkies at night
It might be time to take extra care when using the gaff or net when you have a decent fish along side the boat.
To have a good fish on the gaff or in the net then have a sizeable bronzie come up and attempt to claim it for his own could lead to a very dangerous and some what exciting situation.
The experience of such you could well do without.

Pinkys!
Meglodon, after 20 years of targeting pink snapper I havent found any increase in bronzys or GW sharks. When the larger schools move into the Sound you will see/hear more about the GW's but not an increase in shark numbers!
Dale, PM sent!
De-Crais, cheers mate..... I've spent alot of time on the water to suss them out and over the next 6 weeks it just gets better!!
Cheers fella's
