hi..i just bought a 96 30hp elpto merc and i had to rewire the whole harness because the guy i bought it of decided to run a knife though the harness 1 inch from the plug..i guess he didnt realize it can be unplugged..

my question is..is there any way of testing the alarm system so i know it works..
