Saw this at Lake Mahinapua in NZ a couple of weeks ago.
Complete with a wood fire !
It wasn't just sitting in a paddock, this thing was road registered.

What a cracker
I think historically speaking Kiwis are known for their ingenuity and inventiveness. This more than likely stems from necessity. If there is a way to construct or manufacture a fit for purpose product or acticle and save a few bucks along the way the old school kiwis will find it. Some years ago (Murrin Murrin 2001) I worked with a great old bloke (he was 70yrs old then) from Queensland who was an electrical inspector and he spent many years of his early years working on the construction of power generation plants in NZ. Materials, general equipment / machinery and spares were always in short supply he said, though despite this a make do solution always seemed to be found. Safe, hell no, but the show rolled on.
