Marine Batteries? AGM worth it?

Hi,
anyoe have an opinion on the AGM batteries? Are they worth the extra dollars for a better life expectancy and safety features?
On a sideways note, anyone got a good tip on a cheap place to pick up either an agm or regular battery for my dinghy?
Ta,

They are good. I like them -
They are good. I like them - can be discharged very deeply and still charged back to full strength.
They take any type of charger and can handle high recharge voltage - faster charging!
They are sealed and there is no need to vent them for charging. No spills when bouncing out there, so no corrosion mess to deal with.
They are tiny for the CCA size, but heavy.
I have 2 PC1500 Odyssey batts and they hold their charge way longer then the regular wet marine batts. They are 1500CCA and are 7/8 the size of the regular M70s.
Pretty penny though.
Seen them at Battery World, about $600 each, but shop around think that the forum that Alan Tani contributes to had a bulk buy for the Optimas at one stage.

My dinghy had a 450CCA job in there.
I founds this;
SeaMaster Gold 60 Amp hour / 575CCA $150 ~8.3l
or, close, but in AGM;
55 Amp Hrs AGM Battery $210 ~7.2l
70 Amp Hrs AGM Battery $300 ~11.6l
