Kids life jackets...

I'm about to buy my girl her first life jacket.
I thought I'd canvass opinion on what people were using and their likes/dislikes.
My only prerequisite is that it has to be PFD Type 1. My girl is 11kg.
So, what do your kids wear?

I bought type 1 vest for my kids, jacket with rear flotation collar and crotch strap. The are adjustable so there is some room for growth, will did them out and see what brand they are, but the are quite well made and the kids never complained about comfort.

Zip up
Better off getting the zip up vest ones like Alfred suggested, cheap strap ones are next to useless, especially for kids.

Kids do grow out of them
Kids do grow out of them pretty quickly, so do ask on the forum if anyone has one for sale.

Buy the best you can afford - if you don't and something goes wrong, it will seem very cheap then

Ebay
Matt, My partner and I bought a pair of child life jackets off ebay for a good price about 18 months ago. It appears the zipper type dont start in ebay ones until 15kg+.
