Johnson 4 strokes

Anyone owned these before??

The boat im looking at in the previous thread has 2 x 140hp 10/04 engines on the back.

Ive had small jono's before but not the 4 stks.

Does anyone know if they ahve heard or had problems with these before?
Just need to do all my research!!!!!

Cheers

Bodie

but mate had a 2 stroke and he said it was never a problem. it was a 90 on a 5 meter fiberglass hull. i used the boat in Broome and it presented no problem(s) for the month i used it.

come out of bombardier shed so should be OK.

Thipthorp and a few others have Suzis and rave about them. I think they won't present a problem as long as they've been serviced and looked after I guess....

We had a '05 140hp BRP (Johnno) 4 st on the work boat. 350hrs no problems. Hull got electrolysis and was only reason we sold boat off.

Would be sweet as is serviced and maintained.

Suzi's!

They're quiet, economical, smooth and very reliable Bodie. We had one on the FWA boat and that sold me, i've got the DF140!

Mines done 1480 hours in 3 years and never missed a beat. They say the commercial guys are getting 5000 hours out of the motors and upgrading but still having no issues!

Pretty sure Alfred old rig had a 140hp jono, not sure how old it was, certainly not as old as the boat. It never missed a beat while I was on it!
