This hurt
Hey peoples hope you all had a great xmas.
Boxing day myself and a few mates went to rotto for raftup. What a day it was over there with all the boats tied up together and the alcohol flowing. On the way back once we got into the river my mate asked if he could drive. He has driven my boat in the river plenty of times with me watching on. So i thought why not and let him take the wheel. I ran through what to do as in where the markers are and what side to have them on as i always do with him. I went into the cabin for a min or 2 so i could get change when i heard a bang and the sound of the prop getting bashed. I quickly came back out and seen he had put us on some rocks jusy up river from aquarama:( I tilted the engine up to find my 4 blade stainlees prop to be ummmm well not in the best of shape at all:( So now i have a stuffed prop and a keel that has a chunck out of it. So does anyone know of a place to get the keel fixed and is it possible to fix a stainless prop or should i just not waste my time and just go buy a new one??

Not good you could have done
Not good you could have done a bit of damage to the drive shaft-gearbox i would just get a new prop and get someone to check the internals of the leg ,good luck.

Yeh the boat is fully
Yeh the boat is fully insured. I might give them a call and see what they say. I will sus out how much it is for me to fix it first though. It might not be worth while to go through them
