Greenhead Trip
Had a trip up to green head with three boats over last weekend. Was pretty good but light on the dhus with us only getting two over the weekend - one of which was only mid 50's and the other mid 70's (in 11m depth). The other blokes on my boat got the dhu, I only ended up with undersized ones. Ended up with the two dhu, two pinkies, two blackarse (one @ 50cm) and six baldies with a few of them at a decent size. The other boats did similarly over the trip.
Also had a bit of fun with a kingy in about 8m, a decent hammer head, a massive tiger and a medium sized ray that had me thinking i was onto the horse dhu, and what I think was a sambo that eventually bricked me...
Good trip overall, had excellent conditions and some fillets for the future.
p.s. disregard the skippy

Nice work, some nice fish
Nice work, some nice fish there. Heading up to Leeman in a couple weeks, most of the fishing you did in the 40's? more out towards the bank?
Happen to see much bird action or any tuna about by any chance?
I see some trolling gear in the first pic, no action on the lures?

got the bigger dhu in close
got the bigger dhu in close as well as the kingy and a blackarse, but everything else out in the depth on the sounder shots on the bank. only had a half hour on the troll when in shallow (back of the main drop off) but no love. no birds working out wide whatsover

Pretty nice catch, that YTK would have gone hard, but just as well they taste good too.

Yeah he flogged my mate. Was the second keeper fish he has ever had from a boat, after the dhu. Mate brought up a dryer so he was battered and fried about 8 hours after that photo. Delicious
