Good start to the netting season

was very quiet at the start but things soon fired up after sundown, wind picked up so Russel & I pulled anchor and was heading back to the ramp by 9pm... was hard going scooping the crabs due to the murky water but we managed a small feed.

thanks again Bevan. enjoyed the night apart from that wind. hopefully next time the water will be a bit clearer to see them biting mongrels, only got bit twice
tailor and crabs for dinner tonight with sweet potato chips
just finished the feed, the crabs were chockas with meat and tasted great. well worth the effort catching and cleaning them
