Evening inshore bash

Headed out with Mark (keg) and Kevin (Ashen) last night off mindarie. Anchored up and got the burley flowing before 5 but nothing seemed to be on the bite.
It was a very quiet night but whilst I was sorting out a tangled rig Mark's rod buckled and after a quick tussle up popped a nice little dhu to save the day. We were optimistic after that but again it was completely dead so we packed it up around 8:30.
Cheers for the trip out boys, was great despite the lack of activity

Well, you did catch a squid with a bucket. Lol
That red rock cod/scorpion fish that I caught was the smallest I've seen! Yes Beau, it was correctly identified this time! Haha

S O R was the same.....very very quiet
A few Ray's and black tip sharks but otherwise a really poor evening / night. Sounder was lit up as well but simply not feeding, other boats at the ramp and wash down reported the same
