Well the pouchers are at it. had my pots out the back of passage rock, pulled them on Saturday and bagged out throwing about 9 back. took amate out Sunday as he no longer has a boat due to health reasons and thought he would like a feed.the pots were blanks, no way you get a bag out one day and zip the next. batars, i loved to catch them at it and ram the pricks.

I dunno the crays have been
I dunno the crays have been fickle this year, we got 14 one day then had nothing for the past few days. This time last year we were bagging out every day for two weeks.
I reckon one sure sign is if the pots are significantly off the marks, then it's a possibility someone's pulled them.

Saturday we bagged out too
from three pots. Pulled the other pot on Sunday and got 8. Pulled the other three thinking we were going to clean up as they were on the same spot as previous day and got zip! Certainly patchy so far. Some seasons start the same then get more consistent. Hopefully this one will!

On the march
The whites are on the march out to deeper water, here today and gone tomorrow. If you watch what the pros are doing you will get an idea on how far they move each day. Once they hit them they will drop another line further out to sea to be in front of the march.
Its easy to blame pot pullers when in fact its the crays that have buggered off overnight for the reason of empty pots.

diving
I will put in my 2 cents worth from a diving perspective.
last saturday went out with a mate, not even a full tank each, full bag out. 8 jumbos well over 2 - 2.5kgs each, and the rest all well over a kilo, including whites. the very next day, went out with some other mates to the same area, but differnet lumps. 3 divers, 5 tanks, and all for 6 crays.
sometimes theyre on, someties theyre not.

Diving has been the same
Even down Bunbury way it's the same diving. We have only had 1 dive this season where we have bagged out in first dive. Lots of swimming and very patchy. Dived one ledge, loaded with crays (50-60 odd packed in) got our 16. Gave my mate the gps cords to check out next day, showed me the gopro footage and it was completely empty 15hrs later and they had moved on.
Very random year, still getting a feed but patchy as. Doesn't help they have decided to dredge the Bunbury Harbour at the same time!
