centre console screen

hi all,

I've got a 5.4m profish (http://www.trailcraft.com.au/boats/boat.aspx?model=540profish ) which has a side console.  I was wondering if anyone knows where you can get screens for the console?

At the moment i have my sounder and gps mounted on the top of the console and it's starting to get abit wheathered from all the sea spray so am looking for something to protect it.

cheers

wayne

Or DIY by going to bunnings. $50 for a 1000mm x 500mm polycarbonate in fashionable colours such as "clear" and "charcoal".....that's wot I did for a cheap CC conversion. Seems to be holding in OK thus far....

thanks for the replies fellas,

this isn't the boat i have - though this is similar to what i'm looking for;

http://www.cameltit.com/images/console.jpg

i saw a profish the same as mine the other day with one like the above on his console though unfortunately i was on the freeway at the time so i couldn't ask him:(

i tried calling trailcraft today though couldn't get through to them.  I thought perhaps this could be an add-on you could purchase though after looking at their website it doesn't appear to be.

carnarvonite - do you know the name of that place in wangara?

Forget the name

Forgot the name ,but as you go up the hill in Buckingham drive, they are on your left in one of the sets of units past the street on the left.
Their name used to be on a bus seat on the right hand side of Ocean reef road as you go up the same hill just before the turn and servo on your right.[Heading east from Wanneroo rd]
????Acrylics I think

Now I know where to get the replacement screen materials for our our boat locally... I was going to ask for recommendations next week. Thanks for asking for me Wayne Wink

Cheers,

David

PS..... Mine will be an easier solution as they will be straight sections with no bending required.
