G'day guys,
Anyone have any recent Carnarvon jetty reports?
Driving up tonight heading to quobba but making a pit stop at the jetty in the early morning.
Thanks in advance

Fixed
The burnt out section has been replaced, more money is needed to repair the end section that was neglected while the burnt section was being replaced.
There are still plenty of fish to be caught from where the barrier is and where the landing is half way out.
Some good yellowfin bream have been caught recently plus the usual golden trevaaly and the odd spaniard

Kingies on the high tide are available. Lots of 35cm+ bream around the pylons with occasional big bust-offs if you'rre using lightish gear.
If any easterly is blowing get there at dawn and spin for mackies.

Not sure
Not sure, there had only been one or two weighed in by Wed night at the Carnarfin comp so guess they are pretty scarce compared to other years

Temperature
One of the conditions of the completion is that the fish has to be below a certain temp to be eligible to be weighed so that with lesser quality fish like trevally they are not going to be left in a bag on the deck while good fish take up icebox space, and if given away are good enough to eat.

Jetty had been fishing
Jetty had been fishing really well. Plenty of bream also some good mulloway and queenies. Peter mac if you know so much then please tell us who burnt the jetty and I will go say hello if not stick to talking shit elsewhere.

Carnarvon
I have just come back.Hordes of good size yellowfin bream on unweighted shiner hooks using prawns and mullet cubes.I flattened the barbs and made releasing easy. When I put the pliers on the barb seemed to snap clean off,Are they designed to do this.We anchored of the end.No Mulloway on mullet fillets however we left 3 hrs before high tide as it was a bit lumpy and the beer was nearly gone and the crew panicked.I was skipper so I did not care.Peter I have met you in person why stir the pot.I lived in Carnarvon the second time it burned and we do suspect who it was and why it was done on low tide.It has all been repaired by good people many who I know in person
just do it.
