I'm planning a trip up to Exmouth in July. Can ayone tell me if there is free camping near the beach south of Yardie Creek. It's been a long time since I was up that way. Last time we found a great spot just behind the dunes south of the creek outside Cape Range National Park. Would like to go there again but not sure if you're still allowed to free camp in that area.

Not free
but you are allowed to camp there.
The first 1 or 2 kms or so south of yardie creek are managed by DEC and they collect fees of you. Further south is the bombing range. Not allowed to camp there and if there is RAAF exercises on they will close the access at yardie creek.

there is 2 campsites south of yardie creek, the ranger never goes there to collect fees, and theres no camp warden there, we entered from the south through Ningaloo and the small pay board/station had no envelopes, and no one ever checked that we payed. But we did anyways
Fishing and catching are two different things. But i want to learn how to catch.
