In what I do certainly not an expert with rivets. Once a boat fitting perishes, how to you get the rivets out. I have some ideas but dont want to injure the structure without some expert ideas.
Cheers

Drill them out using the
Drill them out using the same size drill as the pop rivet stem. If unsure go a little smaller on the drill size, and increase as needed. Use the hole in the head of the rivet as a guide to centre the drill bit.
If you're not confident, put a couple of pop rivits in a scrap peice of metal and have a practice run of drilling then out before you tackle the real job.

might also want to note dont drill out too many at a time, do a couple at a time that way you can do it alone and it wont go out of shape.

definately got to drill them
definately got to drill them out but the only prob is there will be a part that will fall inwards. unless you have access to the cavity behind they will stay there forever. its not a hard thing to do but just take it slowly so you dont damage the surrounding area

Done and dusted. Now if only I can get the bloody trucks on Dampier Hwy to stop blowing the Bimini off. Yesterdya dropped the lot and still had trouble with the ken trucks.
