bimini rod rack

does anyone use this style bimini rod rack that you buy of the shelf ? . Are they any good or am i better of getting one made ?

Got one of them that came with the boat, it's ok for lighter outfits but heavier combos have bounced out (on the deck luckily). I don't really trust they will stay up there.
I think it's probaly best to get one made, instead of these

its 32mm alloy not sure what wall thickness but the rod holders are alloy as well. even though they look plastic in the pic.
