Basic service parts for Merc outboard - where to buy?
Submitted by dkonig82 on Tue, 2011-03-29 08:56
Just hoping to save a bit of time here.
Going to service my 90hp Merc outboard on the weekend. It is a 1998 model.
Need all the parts to service it, plugs, leg oil, impeller, gaskets etc.
Has anyone recently done this and shopped around for price on parts?
If so could save me the ring around.
Thanks in advance
Dan

When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:
n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or
n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.

Shame you are in a hurry, I get all my merc parts through veradoclubparts.com they are literally a third of the price of local parts, fluids etc.

Yeah I would do the same, but
Yeah I would do the same, but need them quickly and also I dont expect the parts to be pricey, it is just a basic service, so hopefully paying the premium for buying them local wont be too much different
