Aluminium boat of the year

Did anyone have a read of the latest Trailerboat magazine? How they crowned the bloody Crestliner fishhawk 1850 over the other finalists like the Surtees, Barcrusher, Stabi and Sailfish Canyon Master is beyond me!!! They were all great offshore boats except the winner? How does that work?

Not everything is bluewater and big boats though
I like the look of the 1850. It is versatile and could work chasing a lot of different species. I could see an i pilot at the bow for starters.

Magazine reviews are crap...
...all sorts of deals are made behind closed doors...the reviewers would've got free use of a boat or something...applies to car magazines as well

your right , when razorline , won boat of the year, you might like to think the reviewers might actually talk to the customer's ,its not like Razorline bang out a boat a day , the reviewers could have contacted me or other owners but no they didn't .All comes down to first class airfares, top accommodation , and free meals and booze in the restaurant
