After three skunks finally some joy

Hit the water at 5 this morning and stopped inside FFB in 17 metres, berley up with old mulies and bagged out just as the sun peeked over Garden Island. Flat as conditions and full moon.......my favourite time to fish

Even my favourite gummy spots have been letting me down probably due to all the fresh dirty water pumped into the zsound by the water board ......I can reliably state that there are lots on blue swimmer crabs in the Sound because they were hammering my baits and wouldn't let go even lifting them out of the water

I have a cloth to take them off as even fingers with the tough skin still get stung

Could not believe how busy the ramps were, no one around at 0450 despite flat calm conditions ...come back at 0700 and the car park was full with boats waiting to launch. Hope you had a good day on the water?

Great Day
Was a great day to be out there. Didn't do anywhere near as well as you, but got a good feed and marked some new ground. Had a couple of promising hook ups but couldn't land the fish. Probably just as well, minutes after dropping a good fish, a 3m bronzie decided to hang around off the back of the boat. Was certainly an impressive fish, but don't think it needed a free lunch.
Nice to meet you, hope you do as well next time you head out.
