headed over to the islands on Boxing Day with the kids for a few days.
Bit of breeze around as usual but its bloody nice getting back over here.
My boys have been having a ball catching small trout and big wrasse off the jetty while its too windy to do much other fishing.
Deserted over here for some reason 
Runnin out of battery and phone cover so will post a bit more later.

Looks good. We decided to skip this trip as well. Took the little boat camping and had a ball in close.

Yesterday and this morning were ok but tonite the tide is higher than predicted and the sthly chop is coming over the reef making it uncomfortable til it drops later.
Still all 5 of the kids are in the cabin watching a movie on the little tv i put in there!
Tomorrow will be quite fresh as well. Home on monday weather permitting.

Looks down at the bottom, "hey dad theres a fishing rod down here"
"its blue just like mine" he says
"HEY it IS mine-half of it!!"
Mr 7yr old bursts into tears "a huge baldy grabbed my bait and snapped Cams rod"
Everyone was in hysterics, even Cam. He'd hidden the other half under the life jackets
Too windy to do much today so kids occupied with snorkelling and catching crabs- had a great swim with a friendly seal as well.
might be a weather window to spin back to town tomorrow though it wont be too flash i think.
