Any help appreciated regarding the correct 2 stroke oil to fuel mix, have heard from different people 50,75,100 and fuel used is always 98 octane.
Thanks.

Depends on the engine- Alot
Depends on the engine- Alot are 50-1 but others like the Yamaha are 100-1
Ring a dealer they should be able to tell you what your bes mix is.

2 stroke
standard fuel mix is 50:1 lots of engines will say you can lean that mix out, in saying that you can they are designed to run now on lean mixes, what i will say though your motor will happily run at 50:1 all day long. if your trolling and dont give it a good run you may foul a $4.50 spark plug, lean out your mix to anything but 50:1 you run the risk of bigends drying out, rings grabbing a port, crank journals seizing, all big bucks to repair, stick with you 50:1 and you cant go wrong as for anything but standard unleaded have fun with your fuel pump diaphragms!
